Download Sims 4 Studio and do batch-fixes for your cc.Have you made sure to update them after the latest game patches? Check this list out for some mods that were broken in the C&D-patch! A few others have been broken after but not so many that there is a list.Both can just as easily be removed by deleting the file from the Mods folder. The CC should then appear in-game, ready to use, and mods should begin working. Make sure that the path above is the same place as where you have your saves and mods. Custom Content and Mods are generally installed by downloading a zip, extracting the file, and dropping it into the Sims 4 Mod folder commonly found in Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4.
You can check where the game saves your files by looking in your Game Options - Screenshot settings. Try turning off OneDrive before starting the game.
